Discus Bird Papa

Hans Bølling designed the Discus bird back in 1961. It is made of pine and shaped like a discos. The grain of the wood is great contrast to the painted areas. The inspiration for Discus comes from the playful parrot, which was Hans Bølling's favorite bird and became his personal signature. On all his illustrations, one usually can find a parrot hidden in the background somewhere.
